Meet Jennifer
Hi, I’m Jennifer, and I’ve been working in the mental health field since 1998. I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2007, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families in a wide range of settings—including hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living, public health, outpatient primary care with integrated behavioral health, and private practice. These experiences have shaped my belief that everyone deserves a safe, compassionate space to work through life’s challenges.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware in 1998 and graduated Summa Cum Laude with my Master’s in Social Work from Delaware State University in 2003. After completing my clinical hours, I passed the ASWB exam and became an LCSW in 2007.

Outside of my professional life, I’m a mom to two sons—one a recent Virginia Tech graduate and the other a proud JMU Duke. In my free time, you’ll often find me at the beach, walking my dogs, traveling or cruising, reading, enjoying cars, or simply relaxing at home with my husband.

I believe that all of us struggle at times, and reaching out for support is a sign of strength. My approach is warm, easygoing, and grounded in genuine connection. I’m passionate about helping people navigate difficult moments, build resilience, and rediscover a sense of balance and hope. I would be honored to support you on your journey.
